Posted from my old blog, Hailing Distance, I nearly jumped in ultimate joy upon reading Glambox Airbrush Cosmetics' announcement and I quote, "Congratulations to Ms. Ning Li for winning two tickets to The Wedding Singer musical. Thanks to all those who joined. We will be launching another promo soon so watch out for it!"
As the famous English theater critic, Kenneth Taynan said, “No theater could sanely flourish until there was an umbilical connection between what was happening on the stage and what was happening in the world.” And so I look forward to experience another life flowing in the music of this stage play.
Let me share to you the piece I wrote in pursuit of winning The Wedding Musical's tickets. To Glambox, thank you for this wonderful advance birthday gift to me!
For me, watching stage musicals is matchlessly more romantic than doing anything else. To behold and identify with the characters, especially Julia Sullivan, I believe that I again would be captivated by the magic of love, seen and felt on stage! Having been into series of a roller coaster relationship, I can easily relate to the life these characters portray. I’m pretty much persuaded that “The Wedding Singer” (a well-known romantic comedy film originally written by Tim Herlihy which debuted in Broadway back in 2006) shall make a milestone in today’s theatrical entertainment industry.
So why watch? Simply because it’s a must-see performance!
