instinct alert

No, I wasn’t playing judgmental. And yes, I was serious when I said that.

It was only when I saw how puzzled my friend’s face had turned while having the conversation above that I realized how crazy women (or I) think sometimes. Or could it be that we just possess that special instinct that men don’t have?

Out of Courtesy

There’s no such thing as one size fits all for the whole women clan. That’s basically true. Even truer when the ones involved are Christians. But allow me to put a little clarity and streamlining for a certain question that inspired me to actually write this article: “Until when do women play hard to get?”

First of all, I commend the confidence to have such kind of perception instead of plainly accepting the rejection. It goes without saying that one should avoid being clingy at all costs if you're trying to play hard to get. The dates following the first might have gone fantastically well, but that doesn't mean one should start calling or texting the other every hour to find out where the person is and when they can hang out again. Even if the person’s being into you is pretty obvious, you keep distance, and let him see that you are your own person with your own interests and schedule. That you have life without the other. All these and more lead to refining the very purpose why one keeps exerting effort while the other never says no and just accepts things one piece at a time.

Does the clue seem visible yet? A woman in a right state of mind will entertain only a man in whom she is interested. That playing-hard-to-get should never be confused with just taking all the efforts in out of courtesy.  Take a pause and reread the phrase: out of courtesy. Yes. If you’re good friends with the wooer, there’s no such graceful way to turn down the person. When all you can see is to be a sister to him, to respect him the way you believe he ought to be respected outside the frame of the love that is being offered – is it not way too difficult to say no?

If you’re brave enough to break your silence and give all the efforts possible, be also man enough to respect what the other can only give back to you at the moment. If there’s any relationship to start with, God will work in the heart of the person, in the perfect place, at the most perfect time and with the most perfect word to say.

work-love balance

As career-driven partners, we have to learn to reconcile our work responsibilities with our responsibilities as a couple. We need to put just as much time and effort into our love life as we do into our work; otherwise, either of us may feel neglected and get the impression that all we care about is our career (and consequently, our individual selves alone).

Here’s the “agreed” bucket list, signed and posted as sticky notes on our computers:

SET AND SHARED GOALS. We will be supportive rather than resentful of the time we have to spend apart while at work. This is our way of letting each other know that the effort we put into work is not only for individual benefit, but for the future we’re both working toward as well.

ESTABLISHED EXPECTATIONS. We will inform each other what to expect with regard to our regular work schedule, as well as the possibility of occasionally working overtime and going out of town should the job require it. For instance, we may both agree that certain days of the week should be designated as exclusive "couple time," but it might be harder to make time for each other on other days.

MANAGING TIME EFFECTIVELY. We will avoid procrastinating and concentrate on what we’re doing at work in order to finish on time—and consequently, have the incentive of getting more hours to spend with each other afterwards.

MAKING NECESSARY LIFE ADJUSTMENTS. Balancing our career and our love life won’t be easy. But that doesn’t mean we’ll have to choose one over the other. Both our career and our love life are our priority, so we have to devote time and effort to each of them, supportively.

SEPARATING CAREER FROM LOVE LIFE. We have to remember that our bosses are not going to take “I had an argument with my girl/boyfriend” as an excuse for a poorly prepared presentation, and neither should we. We will try to learn to concentrate and to compartmentalize. Cell phones will be put on silent (or switch it off) when we’re on a date. Answering a call from work when we’re in the middle of telling each other about our day is rude and potentially hurtful.

MAKING OURSELVES FEEL SPECIAL AND LOVED. We will keep a constant, genuine communication between us because once this aspect of our relationship deteriorates, this may seriously deplete the trust and emotional intimacy we share. Remember, it’s not enough to simply tell “I love you;” we want to know we’re interested in each other and in what the other has to say.

ENGAGING SOME AFTER-WORK DE-STRESSING, TOGETHER. While a long, tiring day at the office is enough to keep anyone’s temper and stress levels running high, the last thing we want is to have one take it all out on the other--especially if one had a long, tiring day at work too. We can go out with friends and have the liberty to unwind alone without taking each other forgranted, at all.

TAKING TIME FOR DATES AND WEEKEND GETAWAYS. Not only does a reprieve from work allow us time to relax and de-stress, but it also gives the opportunity to bond, rekindle the romance in our relationship and concentrate on nothing and no one else but each other.

Each point is never easy but is very much workable. Nothing is too difficult anyway if you do it out of serving and upholding your special someone's welfare.

Sounds so loving, isn’t it?

on being into this Channing Tatum thing

I must admit that I am crazily addicted to Channing Tatum nowadays.

After watching the film The Vow where I first encountered how charming and hot (oh yes he really, really is!) this actor is, I searched for other movies featuring him. There are quite a lot of them and each highlighted his entire package – as an actor, comedian and dancer, stripper yes. Believe me, he is a dance guru and the first time I saw him move on stage in Step Up, my jaw dropped! He maybe is the man next to Mr. McDreamy, Derek Shepherd of Grey’s Anatomy whom every girl is dreaming about. I like his sheepish smile, his posture, his way of looking at his leading ladies, his deep mighty voice, his humor, his hot body… just all of him seemed to be perfect! At another instance while watching Dear John, I was contemplating to be with a man whom I can feel so secure – that time spent together with the person is the safest and most awesome one. I was envious of those ladies hanging around him in the set, waiting for their next cuddling and hot kissing scene. I felt like wanting to be just plain human being needing stuff like that, biologically, you know.

And boom! I woke up from this hallucination, completely am convinced that this is way far from getting real. I don’t have him and as a matter of fact, I don’t have anyone just yet. All I have today is this aching dream about someone who can make me not think about Channing anymore, at all, when I am with him. We all are pushed to dream big, aim high. On the contrary we have to learn too that truth hurts. It hurts to realize that there can be no him at all to come in my life. I don’t know. Maybe or maybe not.

my bestfriend is in the house

This whole week was amazing all because my dear bestfriend Nica came to spend the days with me at my dorm. The place was ours because my roommate–friend is still abroad working and is not coming back until March. Spending past office hours alone in this room, prior to Nica’s coming, was not really boring at all, by the way, because I was so engrossed to watching movies every night despite the crawling internet connection. It was just fine, but having someone to come home to is totally different.

So here’s the old-time bestfriends’ crazy routine:
  • I wake up in the morning and rush to office; Nica is still dreaming (with her boyfriend along, perhaps)
  • Go back to dorm when she texts me so I can bring her hot milk tea or Milo then back to office
  • Go back for lunch, picnic on the floor because all I have is a bed; nowhere else to eat but here
  • Go back to office and wait till my 15-minute break time
  • Off from work, finally and talk about where to eat our dinner
  • Watch one movie before leaving for dinner
  • Shop for toiletries and some good bites
  • Eat dinner; we used to go to Volcanic – it’s nice place, highly recommended
  • Back to dorm, wash up and watch another movie
  • Lights off but two of us still talking endlessly for the next couple of hours
  • Sleep finally
Sounds crazy right? She’s very much more domesticated than I do. Over the last few days, I was kept reminded to buy cleaning tools and detergents so our place won’t look messy for ladies like us. I love it though, she does too, maybe; I can tell. She is still finding the right job for her and I’m sort of helping her out so while she’s into that, we’ll spend more time together doing this routine.

I love my bestfriend and I’m happy to be with her in my new home.

bachelorette pad

Moving in to this so-called bachelorette pad, perhaps, is the most crucial decision I have ever made this year… and in my entire life. I was born independent, yes, but I wasn’t really given the opportunity to live away from home. So it feels different, very different that packing my things up seemed to be such a burdensome task! For the nth time I need to undress my being undomesticated and take the responsibility to make an unfamiliar place my new home.

After that craze to look for the most economical and accessible place to stay comes this self-satisfying drive to fill the room with stuffs that wil make it more relaxing and appealing (because I have to prepare for my friend’s coming in 2013). I bought a queen-size bed which looked perfectly enough for two slim ladies. We didn’t choose a double decker bed simply because no one wants to sleep on the upper loft! I have fear of heights too so we ended up buying a wider one. The next thing I got was an industrial stand fan, although I haven’t claimed the unit yet for some (illogical and lame) reason of Anson! Anyway, they have to give me that not later than this week. My first overnight stay in my room was moved just because of that fan; I can’t sleep there and wake up the next morning patched with mosquito bites!

As of this moment, I am thinking of getting:
  • Coffee table instead of dining set – it’s way less expensive and will not eat so much space in the room
  • Dresser – ladies do need this to comfortably decorate ourselves before heading to work
  • Laptop – I have often planned to get one but since there’s no instance that really required me of it, I deferred buying it, and now I badly need one
  • Couch – well, this is optional; only that this will make the room look lovelier
  • Long curtains – I scouted from department store and saw a few designs that fit my taste
  • Comforter – this I have to get this week as sale season is extensive and I have to grab that chance to wisely spend my money, for comfort!
  • Toiletries – of course these are unnegotiable and a big MUST.
There are a lot more in my mind that I want to buy and it excites me day after day to make this room the most beautiful place for a year (or so, because we have a 12-month lease contract with the owner). Soon I will post pictures of how my new nest looks. For now, I wish nothing but to receive our bonus so all of the above must-buys won’t turn into a shattered dream! :)

practicing independence

I am thirty and no matter how much I try to just shrug it all off, my every fiber would always crave for independence. I want to do something that I’ve never done before – something that would label my birthright, my self-governance, my life.

For months, I have been daydreaming of working abroad where I can start everything all over again, alone. Yeah, it’s true that I once said that working overseas would never be an option for me. But people do change their minds especially on a T-junction state — again, let me reiterate, I’m thirty. I should be living life more independently than all the years behind.

When I was in Cebu, I remember telling my travel agents that that place was good for a solitary trip. That very moment I was floating in the idea of exploring the countryside without anyone’s aid. I want to do it alone, for now. I have travelled many times with companions and I completely know how amazing it is to discover treasures from places to places along with your friends and family. But through it all, I couldn’t remark a particular scenario that I gave space for myself to learn more, to think broader, to appreciate life in a deeper sense.

Now, I came up deciding about leaving home. Well, not really to abandon my family. This is a leap of faith in exercising my independence — the step one. I am very soon moving in to a nearer domicile. When I was in college, I envied all my classmates who were able and permitted to live on students’ lodge and dormitories. Perhaps that time, all I understood was I should be with my parents and that’s all. Well now that I’m older, I supposed that they would not take it against me if I choose to live and take care of myself for a while. As mountaineers’ creed say, you can’t climb a hill without even trying to walk a kilometer from home to highway. The same is true with my desire to work abroad. I can’t see myself comfortably living for about thousands of miles away from home if I will not practice independence here and now.

Honestly, I’m afraid and at the same time, hopeful. Do give me a cheer and a pat on my shoulder as soon as I move in to my new place and I will show you around when it happens.

Taste of Bliss: Our Ace Water Spa Experience

“With no much word to describe the soothing bliss I experienced while soaking myself on the bubble-filled tubs, the week of another taxing duties at work seemed to appear magically manageable. Why? Perhaps it’s what they call as starting the week right by relaxing exactly on the day when you don’t have time to do it!”

Those were my words way back in May 2011 when I first experienced the calming beauty that Ace Water Spa in Quezon City has given us. A year after — just last weekend actually — I was blessed to again spend the day in hydrotheraphy at Ace Water Spa, this time in Pasig branch. It’s way more special now because the girls, my two adorable friends, booked a reservation at a nearby hotel so we could spend the whole night chatting and eating and playing like carefree career women.

By admission, I am willing to substitute full body massage with this water therapy. Not only that my friends enjoyed our day together, it was a fulfillment of a long-time dream to get a break from work. Each bubble kneading my arm, back and leg, although gave some itching sensation after every session, satisfied my craving to loosen up the stress covering my body from head to foot! The plan was initially to treat Nica on her birthday in September but since she was away for quite a while, the schedule was moved to date very near to my birthday. So our girls’ day out served a double celebration, mine and Nica’s. We were all first timers in this branch and choosing this place to spend some quiet time together was a great, great idea. I saw the girls in bathers! History hardly ever recorded seeing them worn revealing clothes, so this day was epic! (Hahaha) It took several convincements before Nica came out from the shower area. I had to beg, make drama like I was crazily freezing so we need to rush to the pool area before she came out from her shell and walk with pride out from the ladies locker room.

I had several tries at the lap pool that pulled so much of my energy even before the four-hour allotted time to stay at the spa was over. I was starving already and asked the girls to check out and have dinner. Although deep inside I was sure they would have wanted to stay longer, still they granted my stomach’s wish to eat. But well I didn’t put them down — I showed how hungry I was then by consuming almost 3 cups of rice at Tokyo Tokyo! The two were relaxing totally at the spa and I was busy reaching the edge of the pool back and forth and so I burned the most calories, did I not? (Hahaha)

At the hotel, we barely exchanged words. Well, Des shared a bit of her stories and Nica too, but few minutes after, everyone was defenselessly dozed off. It was a dream-come-true day for the three of us. we happily shared this event to each other as a celebration of an awesome friendship back to the old days and beyond.

What to wear on Marlboro world?

Off to Marlboro world in December!
So they just announced the year-end party theme – it’s Wild, Wild West. This will be my third time to attend to this major office event. The previous parties were themed Jazz Up You Jeans in 2010 and KPOP Invasion in 2011. Although I don’t have much, or rather have really no contribution in the preps of this annual occasion, it excites me still to look forward to the coming days because it sure will keep me and everyone busy finding the best costume to showcase at the facade of the country’s most prestigious hotel, The Peninsula Manila. So how’s that? (Hahaha)

For days, I am contemplating again what to wear in December.

Should it be something like this?

You guys help me, please! :)

addicted to Grey's Anatomy

Perhaps I am a computer geek ─ leave me alone at home and I will spend the whole day facing the desktop writing about life, listening to my playlist and one more thing, lazily watching the Grey’s Anatomy.

I am addicted to this series, really. Although I don’t recommend young people to watch this because there are some erotic scenes in between these bloody surgical episodes, I am advocate of the Meredith-Cristina’s I-am-your-person- friendship ─ where in real life, I have Nica. I am a fan of Meredith-Derek’s commitment to love still even when they hate each other. I am inspired of how deep Owen’s love is for his wife, Cristina. I am amazed of how these surgical hands save physical lives, although it’s an absolute truth that it is God who does it all at the back of each circumstance.

The art this series has been displaying makes it so hard to resist from not following. Each chapter is opened by Meredith, the lead Dr. Grey’s spoken drama. Her character is my spoken writing. I have vivid recollections of how her words brutally came into existence in my life, how some became my current environment and how the rest squeezed into my dreams at night.

I will grow old watching the show definitely. In fact, I skipped taking overtime work when Season 9 kicked off just this month. I rushed home, making it sure the live streaming in my computer would work well and gratefully it does!
Do watch it and tell me if it is worth watching. :)

13/20 Challenge: Unwise Instinct

Girls trust their instincts ─ so do I when I go shopping.

I seldom equip myself with a list of things I need to buy. I just have faith in my gut feeling. When Mom reminds me to go and get a list for myself, impatience abruptly comes into sight. I am now a working professional, so why make a fuss over my liberty to choose on how to spend my resources? Therefore, I grab whatever I feel like buying and pile those up in the shopping cart. Believing that every stuff will suffice my need, I don’t feel the guilt of getting too much of it until I reach home ─ most often than not, there are still toiletries stuck that would last for a month and again another stock is stored; food supply in the refrigerator is releplenished too early too soon, I could have bought later when reserves are near to being fully utilized. Because of too much excitement in buying, some items expire unnecessarily. It’s as if I bought a new stock and dispose the old-but-still-usable one.

This is a very unwise lifestyle I know and I’m honestly trying to fix this personal problem. Not only that I buy them in a very untimely way, I also was living in plain discontent. Earning money doesn’t warrant anyone to spend recklessly as if gold can be found everywhere. It’s a fruit of hard work so I supposed to be responsible enough with whatever I expend.

painful fourth of July

Fourth of July – I woke up with an excruciating lower abdominal pain. Considering it’s just the first week of the month, I have a whole lot of chores in the office so taking leave is not at all in my plans. However, my dysmenorrhea this morning was exceptional.

I could recall I was dreaming when this cutting pain in my stomach started. At first it worried me about a possible appendix failure because the sting ran from my lower right abdomen off to the midway of the navel area. In each sharp nip, my face warped! From that alone I knew it was impossible for me to leave and report for work. My condition forced me to stay in bed until after lunchtime. I considered taking Buscopan to at least calm the spasms down. I opted not to eat because it could trigger vomiting which I didn’t want to happen. Instead I fed myself with water and took as many time as possible, sleeping. It was nearly 3pm when I gained back my strength to stand up. Thank God I was even able to do work remotely in the next few hours.

They said it’s nice to be a girl. Honestly, this morning when I was groaning in pain, I thought of the physical privileges that boys have. This “girl thing” detained me whole day at home when America is celebrating freedom! Sigh.

Free Eyewear: The Drama Queen Giveaway Promo

Four eyes make you look genius, that’s how people perceive it. In reality and by experience, it’s partly true ─ I can’t recall how many times I have heard family friends and relatives telling my parents how intelligent their children (my two sisters and I) must be simply because we all wear eyeglasses.

I was forced to have mine during my review class for the board exams. Every shift was like a hundred students so just imagine how far I was seated from the class podium. Students fear of staying on the front row so that explained why I was there in the middle. Studying numbers was quite painful but having bad eyesight was worse! I was unwilling to have one at first because I didn’t want to look older than my age that time but I was not given a better option. My eyes get easily sore with contact lenses and so wearing eyeglasses was my last and only resort.

Me and my eyeglasses through the years.

Because I am very particular with my belongings, I see to it that they are well kept. My things would depreciate naturally over the years. I have had barely four pairs of eyeglasses since after I started using it and the current pair just turned two years last May.

Now that I’m getting older, it seems that wearing classy pair of glasses would help in keeping you in the trend. I am very excited about the FIRMOO giveaway announced by Dr. Crickette Inserto-Lazaro. I once won a contest sponsored by NIVEA through a similar blogger promo of The Drama Queen Can Tell Stories.

Following friendly procedures posted on her page ─ click HERE, two winners can win pair of eyeglasses/sunglasses (each) from their catalog (free shipping to anywhere).

So what are you waiting for? Come and join the fun, hope and win like I want! :)

Night of Mardigras

Only rare moments allow us girls to dress like a princess and walk the red carpet like real VIPs, and this night was reserved for that glamorous affair. It’s the company’s 24th Anniversary Conference and I am pleased to be part of the event held at Makati Shangri-La Hotel with today’s theme Night of Mardigras.

Photoshoot with some colleagues, and that's me!

People in the department were actually comfortable with the theme itself after having a similar mask party back in December. The one thing that kept me occupied from the time announcements were made was the what-to-wear thoughts considering I was with Brazilian group. The two others were Indians and Africans, by the way. I was very lazy to stride every corner of the malls again to get the dress that will fit the occasion so I planned ─ and it did materialize nicely – to recycle the gown I used two years back when I hosted a year-end gathering too, my black Tinkerbelle–inspired semi-balloon black and silver evening dress.

I was very reluctant to put the gown on again. Thoughts like it might not fit my size now and I look sillier today than the first time I wore it scared me. In front of the mirror, as I see my restructured self ─ wearing a bump on my crystal pinned hairdo, showing off my painted cheekbones and reddish lips, and being dressed in this made-to-order apparel – I nearly failed to recognize that it was actually me!

I don’t know how to humbly appreciate what I have become that night, but I just loved seeing myself then. So ladylike, simple but perfectly elegant. Left and right I heard some appreciation too from my colleagues and it all felt overwhelming. Their kind commendation made me carry my garb gracefully.

By order of Mardigras presentation: Africans - 3rd place, Brazilians - 2nd place, Indians - Grand Winner.

It was a night of art too. With the three countries participating in the event, the rest of the crowd gave justice to the Mardigras theme. Brazilians, my group mates, were highly captivating! Dressed in a combination of red, neon green and pink colors, their stage presence was spectacular. The Indian boys and girls, on the other hand, took us to the alluring world of Hindus while the Africans brought the jungle to the city with the natives dancing to an epic ritual song. The presentation in itself was stunning. I could say that it was a very successful event solely from observing our international bosses applauding for the production numbers rendered. We Filipinos are as talented as we are in office when asked to perform on stage.

Although our team ranked after the ultimate winners, the Indians, the night gave me the entertainment I expected. It was fun meeting the people I only know by name in our email communications. And it was pretty satisfying be part of celebrating the company’s another year in the business.

I didn't give it up!

I can’t recall how many times and how many people have encouraged me to try taking the CPA Licensure Exam again. Unlike most of my batch mates, I just tried it once, a year after my graduation. My tolerance to failure is very low and so it really took a while before I was able to pull myself up again after that great fall. Perhaps being perceived as a strong-willed woman and being the eldest among four children, I also expected, in such a very big probability, that I would make it. However, it just didn’t happen ─ the Lord has better plans, I believed then.

Time and again when I see friends’ names posted on broadsheets and published online as new board passers, there comes something from within that bothers me. When I think of passing the exams, I imagine my parents’ fulfilled dreams, my sisters shared victory and the people’s priceless applaud. Such are so worth envisioning!

The years back then were far different from the present. I need to work harder. I have to focus on becoming a more diligent and desirable employee. And if I do not concentrate with my job now, I have no more time in the future when the kitchen and laundry will be the exclusive places I can be seen busy ─ when I already have a husband to serve and children to raise. Some people laugh at me for telling this, but this is how I really see myself. I don’t want to slog all my life in the office without a family of my own to come home to at the end of the day. I want to retire to my bed beside a loving provider surrounded by our little ones. I want to serve my purpose as a woman, and spend my remaining years on earth as full fledged mom.

Dreams. I didn't give up. Maybe God has shifted the steering wheel.

March is when....

...the sun entices everyone to go to the beach,
drinking iced cold water gives people a lasting fulfillment,
no one seems to stay long in the office anymore and slog to work,
you have nothing in mind but have a vacation.

It is when the call of summer is simply irresistible.

Vietnam Chronicles: I ♥ North Face

I have always wanted to climb again. My highest desire to complete my hiking gears is actually one of the reasons why I traveled to Vietnam ─ I want my own North Face climbing bag!

On our first day at Saigon, while touring around the city, we dropped by at a coffee factory. The place itself was offering many goods like chocolates, tea, powder juice ─ and to my astonishment ─ women’s bags too! The saleslady who successfully brainwashed me to get my Dad an alamid coffee (coffee beans secreted by bearcats or civets), dragged me to the adjacent stall where bags and wallets were beautifully displayed. My eyes nearly fell on the floor in amazement ─ you know that girly thing inside when you are in the midst of the things you ever wanted to have. For a while, I was stuck and the last thing I remembered was haggling over the price of this dark blue 45L Electron gear.

I look forward to a number of climbing experiences with my 45L Electron North Face bag.

I gave an irksome answer when she asked me the value that I wanted. The bargaining period lasted for at least twenty minutes; the other tourists waiting for me at the van outside were already getting pissed! I said VND 1,500,000 was the last price I could pay. And you wouldn’t believe, she gave me the bag!

I am so thankful to have that bargaining skills for emergency purposes! (Hahaha) This kind of bag costs twice as much as the ones bought from NF stores at the mall... and because of this, I ♥ Vietnam even more today!

when she says...

Fine. This is one word she uses to end an argument when she knows she's right and you need to shut up.
Nothing. She means something and you need to be worried.
Go ahead. This is a dare, not permission so better not do it.
Whatever. Her way of saying "screw you!"
That's okay. She's thinking long and hard on how and when you will pay for your mistake.
Wow! This is a bonus word but not actually a compliment. She's amazed that one person could be so stupid.

If she matters to you, listen more to what lies behind her words.

love counterfeit

When people ask how enough is just enough and how far is too far, I think of a friend and it bothers me. I have a heap of regret for giving too much to undeserving relationship and it bruises me more and more when I see my friends choosing the same devastating mishap I went through.

The fall hurts but I don’t understand why many still keep climbing the dreadful mountain of mistakes only to be kicked down from the trail and leave them a heart filled with cuts and bruises. Because every rule seems to cancel out the things our will dictates, we deliberately break it.

I am way past the immature fables of falling in love. If it can’t wait, if can’t bring the best in your life, if it breaks your family apart, if it compromises your faith, if it shatters the heart of God…

All these and more...then you're deceived by a plain counterfeit ─ it is not definitely love.

Korean wannabe

Although cash prize awaits the best-dressed participant, what I am really aiming for in this event is the total excitement enclosed to gathering of the entire TSM Group. Ranging to about 400 employees, the company will hold its Holiday Party at the Peninsula Manila on the 15th carrying the Korean-inspired theme.

I never liked anything about Koreans. People know that I was born to love Chinese ─ their language, art, food and music. However, this event requires being clothed in Korean and no one has a better choice. Therefore, I am forcing myself to really look like one on that day.

Today I undress my being a Chinese fanatic. Annyeonghaseyo!

My sister’s friend lent me one-piece, above the knee, triple colored apparel that I will integrate with bronze bead necklace from my Mom and a pair of dazzling earrings I have. Today I bought new pair of sneakers with pink lace! This will be paired with black net-like stockings to cover my flesh from above the knee downwards. Also, have an instant hairdo, thanks to the wig from Landmark! Although unnoticeable, my hair will be enhanced by a separate bangs and a wavy extender from the knot of the ponytail down to the tip. Of course, I need my sunlasses to touch up my chosen style. Make up will be easy; I trust that I can do it myself!

I do hope not to look so silly as though I have forsaken my passion for Chinese to be just a miserable
Korean wannabe!
