Very unnerved, I phoned my cousin who, at the time of the massive 8.9 magnitude tremor, was lazily taking an afternoon nap with her son in Hiroshima. Hearing Anne’s voice assuring me of her entire family’s safety breathed life into my shivering hope. Baby Sora, his parents Anne and Naoki, and the rest of the household are gratefully out of harm's way!
I shed tears while own my way to meet a couple of friends that night. The sudden earth upheaval instilled in me the reality of the power of God. His every creation ─ skies, wind, water, and earth ─ listens at once to the monumental voice of their Master. In the swiftest snap, the entire globe knelt in prayer to spare the lives of the people in Japan and everyone else at the nearby vicinities.
Aside from the shaking earth, the never-ending and worsening hostility in the Middle East has already created a hefty slump in the economy endangering the prime source of oil, which is the building block of the global industry today. Man’s growing rudeness and carnality are now ironically applauded calling them politics and way of art.
When all is but an echoing voice of the Lord’s final call, I dramatically hum the portion of the song, Midnight Cry: “I look around me, I see prophecies fulfilled. And the signs of the times, they’re appearing everywhere.” Nothing is clearer than it is to say that the majestic return of the Lord is evidently at hand.
