My male person, whom I do not want to name here for his own solitude, can probably testify my life’s entire goings. The comfort we claim is sometimes more than the one coming from and given to my female friends. We slap mistakes in each others’ faces; we keep and mask discreetly some dirty linen we’ve been trying to protect. Even having a new haircut makes him want to call me right away for commenting! At one point we witnessed how our individual love stories flourished and faded though time and was back in the line again (for him). Now being in a new relationship, he still never falters to check on me and find time to let me know he’s just there.
Over the years, many smell something different between us. Had the person wasn’t known by them, they would have thought we’re an item ─ they said we belong, we’re cute, and that we might make a good match. I never denied about his almost perfect gentleness, a manly character many girls would drool for. I have been with him longer than my past relationships so I know ─ I know we will not be happy together as a couple. There are certain principles drawn between platonic closeness and leveling up to romance. I can’t and I dare not want to either. Seeing him romantically fulfilled today ─ after a long quest to find his dream girl ─ gives me equal joy already. I want him to be there when my time to settle down comes as much as I hope he wants me to be present too on his wedding day. If there exists love between us, that would be something to nourish our friendship more over time.
Who would say opposite genders can’t make good friends?

Hay..sis we really meet persons who I guess are really meant only to be friends..some persons who will teach us a lesson..some who are just there to be with us as a companion without romantic strings attached..
ok lang sis..destiny will lead you to whom you are meant to be with..a true love that will last forever..baka naman nandyan lang siya kailangan lang pansinin :)

@Bean: Well I'd be glad to be there as a principal guest when his wedding day comes. I'd rather be the guest then than the bride! hahaha
@Sie: The two seem to join force in bullying me :( Hehehe! Yeah I know God is preparing our first date together soon.
