Habakkuk 2:3
For the vision is yet for the appointed time; it hastens toward the goal, and it will not fail... though it tarries, wait for it; for it will certainly come, it will not delay.
Standing between a great distance and some folds of time do bring special challenges and require special understanding and wisdom. It's not really difficult but neither very easy to connect in the cracks of life, debrief after all the action of the day is done, try to make the headlines — exciting and discouraging — feel real for someone on the other line, but as much as each one seems to care about the other, they both aren’t there in the same place and time. But the partial integration into their lives is undeniably helpful for imagining what the complete integration might be like.
Time divides years into months, months into days, days into hours, hours into minutes and minutes into seconds and the huge distance into just tiny steps in a wink of an eye. The miles and time that stand between them is but a thin line in the eyes of the God who stands in front. So what is 85 days of a little wait to soon behold an unutterable joy that their hands once clasped in silent prayer?
