What people think of us, most of the time, matters. Not aiming to be the center of everyone’s attention, we oftentimes limit ourselves to do what will bring us real fulfillment. We put their interests on top of our own perspectives. In the end, regrets haunt us for refraining to do what should have been done.
I’ve been living the philosophical way of minding my own business, sensitive to others' welfare but limited to my own way of life. Because I cannot handle everyone’s thoughts, I just cling to what I perceive is equitable without putting anybody’s welfare at risk.
Decision-making is a good privilege. Let’s try to practice it without unnecessary preconceived external notions.
