They say a good traveler has no fixed plans and is not intent on arriving. With the thought, I remember purchasing plane tickets early this month for my debut overseas trip in November. Having no work commitments for the past period, I made a steadfast choice to extend my vacation cum job-hunt-expedition for two weeks. After which, I told myself not to come home without any sort of bacon!
Days came to pass and I unexpectedly was shortlisted in the position I applied for. Series of emotions meddled up afterwards. At the back of my amazement to this great blessing just before I celebrate my birthday, thoughts of not being able to avail that long holiday leave disquieted me. Since the tickets were already paid, the hotels, soon to be booked, and all plans fixed, future difficulties set in as I still have to inform the management about the situation.
Had I known it better, I should have also made contingency plans about this. Now I could feel the hurt lagging in my head while pondering on these things.
