"Namamasko po!" I heard this a hundred times today cheered by the people outside. Isn't giving that the so-called Christmas is all about ─ and NOT "soliciting” ?!!
Born a non-believer of the worldwide fete, I grew up disparaged by some people at times for being different. Our home was never embellished with colorful blinking lights, synthetic pine trees, poinsettia arrangements, mistletoe, and gifts. December is but an ordinary month, except for the fact that I share equal privileges when given bonuses and holiday grants.
To us Baptists ─ as the Bible inscribes, Jesus came to seek and save the lost. We were tasked to commemorate His death and resurrection ─ not His birth ─ and the plan of salvation itself, until He comes again.

Guess..we're just happy that our Redeemer is born so as to save us..Smile! we are just grateful of the Christ's birth :)
He must be born in flesh before the promise be done.
When those carolers sing again, sing louder and ask for the talent fee..hehe!
Yes, I know it's the tradition that implanted the fete to many and I respect that. ;')
