Have you ever imagined how big an aircraft propeller is?
It must be something like this…
It must be something like this…
This is actually the one thing in my mind (after Vigan) when I hear of Ilocos.
I was dying to see these big windmills in Bangui seashore when the plans to go up north were first brought up. Everyone was peeping through the car window just to see those wind turbines. The moment our van dropped us off, fascinating scenery welcomed us. One…two…three… there were actually twenty of them lined up at the shore serving two purposes ─ being a real source of electric energy to Ilocos Norte and giving each tourist a satisfying holiday.
One is unable to describe the wonder of the place in words unless he gets to see it with his own eyes.
We have gone crazy taking gazillion of photos of ourselves. Name it all: jump, candid and casual shots – we’re all very cooperative! With each pole standing 23-storey-high and each blade measuring 41 meters wide and it’s body requiring more than ten thin people to embrace each pole, all we could utter was a big WOW.

We’re just a small number of WOWtrippers but I tell you, we owned the place that very day! It will be more fun if you try going there sometime. :)
