He will fondly watch her. When they go to Power Books together, she shall intently flip through her favorite books. Glancing up occasionally, she’ll find him staring at her - his intense aquamarine eyes sparkling and a smile tugging at the corners of his mouth. She’ll feel like a little princess adored by her noble knight. He will look at her while she is speaking, in a way that every young girl wants to be looked at. He will not say anything, but just smile at her with those trusting eyes of his, watching her as if he is so amazed she is actually there - sitting with him. She will playfully hit him and tell him to stop being creepy but he will just shrug his shoulders, lean forward to kiss her and say “I can’t help it. I love who I’m looking at.” She will shake her head laughing and get back to work, but a few minutes later when she looks up again, he will still be there, smiling at her.

His eyes will be his best feature and his dimples too. Those thick eyebrows will make his eyes deep and will cause them to sparkle. His eyes will be her gateway. They will connect her to him. No matter how convincing his smile is one look at his eyes and she knows what he really feels inside. She’s going to love his laugh, and his sense of humor, and the way that no matter how bad an argument will be, he’ll always end everything with an “I love you” whispered into her ears.

Someday that promising lass will fall in love with him. Someday God will place their hands as one. Someday they will be part of each other. And on that day, hope will uphold the partnership, faith will nourish it and love will truss their hearts together for a lifetime.
