In pursuit of personal peace of mind, I opted not to attend my friends’ wedding this coming week. Yes, both the groom and the bride are very good friends of mine. I dropped my final decision right on the day I left Manila last month.
Just like any ordinary girl, I of course love attending nuptials. The entourage’s impressive outfits never fail to amaze me! I love to sit in one corner, dreaming about my own day in the future. But unlike many, I have never been at the entourage list. One thing so common about it, I always am invited to host the event, sing or usher the guests along.
My wanting not to go there has opened the door for another function I swiftly said yes to ─ hosting a bridal shower. I realized that wedding events come chasing after me so often nowadays. Oddness just seems so bewildering!
