Hong Kong Chronicles: Memoirs Therefore

Coming here, I was amazed on how Walter Disney had conceptualized his long time lain-dormant dream to set up a place where adults and children could go and have fun together.

The momentous Disney original soundtracks ─ A Whole New World, Under the Sea, I'll Make a Man Out of You, Beauty and the Beast, etc. ─ made me realize that if you are constantly stressed out and hit upon yourself longing for the carefree days of yesteryear, there is hope yet you could actually find at Disneyland.Batting against acrophobia, it took several special kind of convincement from my friends and little sister to gain my YES to riding every “deadly ride” at Ocean Park. On board the one-kilometer-tall-and-undefined-feet-high cable car line, I was trying to divert my attention by asking myself why Pandas are here, knowing they are not aquatic animals.After realizing that Hong Kong actually is a country without a zoo for these Pandas to live, thank God I already was able to cross the straight, alive!Having to travel long, conquering a few days of restlessness away from home is but an experience worth sharing with my little sister. This debut overseas trip taught us so many priceless discoveries not any encyclopedia could ever lecture.
