Aside from getting fascinated to the different scenery in each place I came to visit recently, I too am engrossed to the foreign face values of the local currencies they have. In Hong Kong, the ten-dollar (HKD 10) bill really caught my eye with its bluish smooth surface, which actually seemed like a colorful play money! I refused spending it so I could bring it along back home.
Yesterday while I was in an errand at the bank, the glee among the tellers pulled my attention. A bundle of new two-hundred and fifty peso bill seeped their interest each wanted to exchange their old money! If only I wasn’t in a rush then, I would have joined the commotion inside to have mine exchanged too.
It’s no doubt that the new generation banknotes incredibly charm the public. Why should I be addicted to foreign currencies when ours are but perfectly designed bills!
