a life so worth living

For how long, I have abandoned (unintentionally) blogging. My consistent appointment as events committee member for company activities held me so preoccupied for consecutive weeks. It’s damn tiring, believe me!

Anyway, here is the roll of events I missed sharing with my friends online for the past days:

Off to Never Land. I had the “pixie dust and happy thoughts experience” in the timeless tale of Peter Pan, on stage. This was my third time to watch musical play this year. As a gift to myself, I forced my colleagues and surrogate sister, Nica to watch the show with me on a last minute call. Although our place was somehow distant from the stage itself, I honestly loved this Repertory Philippines’ production.
Octoberfest 2011. My second birthday celebration in ROHQ was a legendary blast! I remember blowing my first candle here last year with barely three staff plus our boss. From four, the department now grew to over twenty heads and continually grows bigger. We partied for two birthday celebrants and for the original four’s anniversary in the company and called the event, Octoberfest.
Going on strike. In line with the United Nations event on the 4th week of October, our bowling tournament was themed after it – Strike a Bowl to the World. As I have mentioned here gazillion times, I wasn’t born sporty but bowling melted my heart and gratefully I can say that this game loves me too. I am no excellent player but at least I manage to hit the pins down. My team, Singapore, was just unfortunate to rank last among the twelve competing nations. Losing the game was very obvious especially after being awarded with fresh tomatoes, URGH!!! But it was fun, really fun.
Splash-ful birthday bash. I booked for Splash Island adventure right on my birthday. I brought my family along to celebrate the day with me. Joining us then were two closest families in the church, and of course my best friend in the world, Nica. Despite the needle-on-a-haystack crowd and so great heat of the sun, I am very thankful that God gave me this day to celebrate with the most important people in my life.

Now you know why I love October so much. This month inspires me and had always drew me to be more thankful to my Creator for giving me a life so worth living.
