I have been to many deluxe resorts, domestic and overseas but what Avalon Beach Club has given us was competently splendid. Taking no part at all in the busy assignments of room reservations and online reviews, I have to commend our travel mentor for introducing us to this wonderful place up north. From afar, we rejoiced at the perfect picturesque view of this place. Travelling for almost twelve hours by land was, I tell you, very exhausting so what welcomed us in Cagayan really eased our deadbeat bodies.
Welcoming the guests is an attractive tree house situated some meters away from the resort entrance. On its right is a souvenir shop, which at that time was under construction. The well-trained customer-friendly roving guards were the ones to entertain us. We waited for a few minutes and the resort manager came to assist our needs and sent us to our cottage.

The mahogany coffee table set at the balcony allowed us to have a perfect view of the nearby beach. Our room was inspired with a nostalgic blend of tropical hardwood and dim lights. In my estimate, it could accommodate up to ten people. You just have to avail extra beds and towels. The bed amazed me! I saw myself there lying lazily like a princess! Above you could see a white linen spread through the four sides of the bed making it appear like a royal abode. On both sides are table lamps that gave our eyes ideal rest at nighttime. The flat screen TV catered with a cable network kept us posted about the current events in the metro while we were away. Despite the place being covered with glass, it kept our privacy inside with the drapery around. From within it’s like stage curtains wonderfully arranged. On the opposite side of the living room was the toilet. With the clean setting inside you could say it’s really a comfort room. The place was a complete package of solace.
As we walked towards the sea, we became more appreciative of the place. The sand, although not as fine as everyone loves it to be, still defined what a desired beach should be like. We weren’t given a sunny day that time so the chance to stay by the bay late in the afternoon freed us from getting sun burns. We took gazillion photos of ourselves, walked tirelessly by the seashore and played like little children with the waves. The greenery surrounding us made it more relaxing to stay.

To add more, Avalon Beach Club trained people to deal with the guests courteously. They attended to our every need without delay. You need not have to worry of any language barrier because every staff knew how to speak Tagalog. The food was nicely served and everything you paid for was so worth the price.
I have yet to explore more of the treasures in the north and my experience with this place just enticed me to pay another visit there. Thanks to Avalon for making this trip a very remarkable one.
