Today is no less than Dad’s 53th birthday — a day to give expression and appreciation for a God-given gift of his presence in the family. Knowing he cares little for a lot of sentimental praise, I will limit my words of nobility by saying I have, in my life time, meet and known many excellent fathers, and have read about so many great men, yet, I can honestly say I am very blessed I am his daughter.
Reminiscences of my fellowship with him during my childhood are crammed with vivid recollections of delightful experiences we had together during those years. Everything in him displays what I clearly aspire for his future son-in-law (*smiling*) — a man who loves God above anyone else, someone who can replicate this love to me. Today as I see him standing in front, preaching God’s word, there carves a deep mark in my heart ─ it’s the utterance of endless thanks for giving me a wonderful father in him. I can’t be grateful enough for my father’s love, for the love God has taught him to share with us.I love you Dad! We are always thankful that God has given us you.

Your sense of smell is so excellent! We really had ice cream last night. Babies are not given cold drinks before going to sleep that's why you were not given one! Hmp! **prickin' butt***
